Welcome on Lotro Gold. Today I would like to present all classes available in Lotro. Check them out!

Captain
The Captain is proud and strong leader, a commanding presence who strengthens allies, but is also skilled in the use of two handed weaponry. Captain is very useful at PvE (player vs environment), because of awesome buffs + he can eventually heal his party mates.

You can play as Captain, if you are Man

Champion
The Champion is the consummate warrior, unrelenting in battle. His fervour allows him to make increasingly powerful attacks. Champions are very effective melee DPS class, he is also quite tough so you don’t need to worry about his survival on the battlefield. Brutal, fast and master of dual weapon combat. I must admit that Champion is my favorite class in Lotro. It’s easy to farm Lotro gold as a Champion.

You can play as Champion, if you are Dwarf, Elf or Man

Burglar
The Burglar is a master of stealth and misdirection. Burglars are able to confound foes with a variety of clever and debilitating tricks. They can stun, they can run, they can do what they can ;-). Basically is tricky bastard! It’s good that he doesn’t steal any lotro gold. They use as a weapon daggers.

You can play as Burglar, if you are Hobbit or Man

Hunter
Hunter is great as a main ranged attack force, he can also set traps. His armor make him very vulnerable to all kind of attacks, but it’s still very useful during tough fights.

You can play as Hunter, if you are Dwarf, Elf, Hobbit or Man

Lore-master
Lore-master is supporting class, with all kind of buffs and useful stun spell, he can also debuff enemies and summon pet for combat (dog, cat, snake etc.). The Lore-master is a seeker of knowledge and a guardian of wisdom.

You can play as Lore-master, if you are Elf or Man

Guardian
Tank class. Hard as a rock. Well, you need really powerful firepower to charm Guardian is his heavy armor. Of course he isn’t so effective like as damage dealer, but his great armor make him almost unstoppable. He uses one handed weapons and shields.

You can play as Guardian, if you are Dwarf, Elf, Hobbit or Man

Minstrel
Minstrel is basically healer class, he can heal use healing skills on one target or all fellowship and also resurrect fallen comrades. Well, fellowship without Minstrel is hard to imagine, of course Captain can also heal, but he is less effective then Minstrel.

You can play as Minstrel, if you are Dwarf, Elf, Hobbit or Man

These classes has been added in Mines of Moria expansion

Warden
Warden wear medium armor and specialize in ambushing enemies. Well, if he pick one target, he just tear apart it apart with great combo attacks. As weapon he uses a spear.

You can play as Warden, if you are Elf, Hobbit or Man

Rune-keeper
Mystical linguists and masters of true names, Rune-keeper attack enemies with his powerful magic, or heal allies. RK start their adventuring careers with a Rune-stone, this weapon is far more versatile than anything a smith could create in his forge.

You can play as Rune-keeper, if you are Dwarf or Elf

See you again on Lotro Gold!

Welcome on Lotro Gold. Today all list of US servers with small explanation…

North American Worlds

Arkenstone
Arkenstone was the Great jewel of the ancient Kings of Erebor. Now this jewel lies with Thorin Oakenshield deep at his grave at the Lonely Mountain. This Jewel was part of Smaug treasure– hobbit named Bilbo Baggins of the Shire stole it.

Brandywine
Brandywine River is like all land of Shire, very calm and almost still, with big fishes. Hobbits like to go fishing in the morning and sleep nice mean while fishing pole is already in water. Brandywine is perfect place for this kind of “active rest”. This server is named after this river.

Elendilmir has been voted to be the unofficial Oceanic Server
The object this server’s name is derived from is also known as the Star of Elendil, which name was given to two white precious jewels. The first jewel was attached to a circlet of mithril and was worn by Elendil and his heirs instead of a crown. It was lost in the Gladden River when Isildur died, and a second was made which was worn by the Kings.

Firefoot
This server is named for the steed of Éomer, the Third Marshal of the Riddermark. One of Rohan’s finest horses, Firefoot bore both Éomer and Gimli to Helm’s Deep, and later led the charge against the mûmakil at the Pelennor Fields.

Gladden
This server has the name of two important places in Middle-Earth, Gladden Fields and Gladden River. Gladden Fields was once a place where Hobbits lived and the place where Sméagol (or Gollum), and Déagol came from. Gladden River was the river where Isildur was ambushed and killed by Orcs, and where centuries later Déagol found a shiny new ring…

Landroval
Landroval is gigantic and powerful Great Eagle. He is the one who saved Frodo and Sam after destruction of the One Ring, with his brother Gwaihir. They are very large and can fight with nazgul beast mount. They are one of the biggest flying creatures in all Middle-Earth. Landroval is also name of the Lord of the Rings server.

Meneldor
Meneldor is server named after Great Eagle. Two mighty eagles saved Sam and Frodo from certain death after destruction of the Ring of Power, near Mount Doom. Second eagle was Gwaihir (this one also saved Gandalf from Saruman the White prison).

Nimrodel
There was once, Lorien maid named Nimrodel, he loved very much elven King of Amroth. Her story is very sad and it’s mentioned in Sirmarillion about this. Nimrodel is also cold spring in western part of the Misty Mountains. There also server for Lotro called Nimrodel.

Silverlode
Server is called after river called Silverlode, it run from Dimrill Dale, secondly through Lorien and it flow to the Anduin River. Silverlode is common name of this river, in Elvish language is called “Celebrant” and in dwarven is called “Kibil-nâla”. There are many silver mines near the river, controlled by dwarves.

Vilya
Vilya is name of most powerful from all Three Rings, given to the elves by Sauron, ring is also called the Ring of Air. This one was owned for long time by elf, Gil-galad, who gave ring to noble Elrond. Elrond is using power of this ring to preserve all Rivendel. Ring is beautifully crafted with large sapphire.

Windfola
Rohan has unique horses, known for their strength, agility and toughness during full gallop. Windfola is Lord of the Rings server named after horse of Éowyn, this steed carried Éowyn and Merry during the Battle of Pelennor Fields. He wasn’t enough brave to stay when fell beast of Witch King approached, Windfola just run away.

Welcome on Lotro Gold – Blog. Today Lotro system requirements. Well im not quite sure about this system requirements, Ive taken them from official website but i dunno how you can play on 64 Video card and 1,8 Ghz. Really. Ive got better PC then minimum requirements and i was really pissed of sometimes, because of low frames per sec. Well to enjoy game you need something more then minimum, i tell ya.

Recommended Specifications
HDD: 10 GB
RAM: 1 GB
CPU: 2.8 GHz or Athlon equivalent
DVD: 2x
Video Card: 128 MB

Minimum Specifications
CPU: 1.8 GHz or Athlon equivalent: 1800
Video card: 64 MB, DirectX 9.0c
HDD Space: 7 GB
Internet connection
RAM: 512 MB
DVD drive: 2x

Lotro is really beautiful game and playing on minimum details it’s just pointless. I played some time on very poor PC and when i changed it, on better one, game became fantastic. On higher details it’s perfect, I just discover Lotro again ;)
Well i hope everyone now has stronger PC then Recommended Specification says. My laptop is on similar level.

See you later on Lotro Gold – Weblog
